1. Nature of the Service
Prokyua provides business intelligence, automated tender document extraction, Chinese supplier matching, and landed import cost simulations. Prokyua is not a government agency, public procurement authority, or customs clearance broker.
2. Statutory Customs Disclaimer
Landed cost calculations generated on this platform are computed strictly using official published East African Community Common External Tariff (EAC CET 2022/2023) schedules, Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) valuation rules, and prevailing ocean freight and inland trucking estimates. These estimates serve as advisory models and do not substitute for official customs assessments, tariff classifications, or clearance rulings issued by TRA TANCIS or EAC customs authorities.
3. Supplier Quotations & Validity
Supplier quotations collected from Chinese manufacturers reflect confirmed or indicative FOB/CIF terms at the time of inquiry. Factory prices are subject to raw material fluctuations, exchange rate movements (USD/CNY), and quotation validity deadlines specified in individual supplier pro-forma documents.
4. Independent Bidding Decisions
Tender bidders remain solely responsible for the final submission, price determination, and contractual execution of their bids on NeST, TANePS, or private procurement platforms.
